Photography is an exercise in discovery and rediscovery; an exercise of seeing, enjoying and appreciating one's environment. A good photograph should evoke an emotion. Making photographs gives me much pleasure, but sharing photographs gives me greater pleasure. Enjoy! After 43 years of making photographs, I felt I should develop some cohesive body of work from the tens of thousands of photographs I have made. So I set out to determine what types of photographs I repeatedly made and where I repeatedly returned to photograph. Through a designed process, I decided to create four primary portfolios, which represent those subjects that seemed to have repeatedly captured my attention over the years. Two of them, still in progress, are posted here. The other two, railroads--primarily steam railroad operations and the men who work on them--as well as graffiti/wall art, have not yet been brought together. As I bring the best of those subjects together I will post them. So please come back and visit in the future. I am currently represented by the SuperStock stock photography agency. If you wish to purchase a particular photograph, please email us or look for the photograph on SuperStock's website. Each photograph can be provided in color or black & white. Additionally, there are many similar photographs available that are not posted on this site.
